Time goes fast

Man its been a month now since the dreads fell off and a month of working total around 240 hours. Not bad but not much left for fun or social life, even though i went out two times you cant really relax when u have work waiting for you the day after =) So i've been checking for tickets around 14-15th of April so i can go down and help out on the Electric Universe tour. Would be nice to get down to Delhi at that time but im not sure if i'll manage to get all the things sorted out till then. Still waiting for 1st of April to apply for a new visa and i'll probably will be working hard as always into the last minute.

Im on the lookout to buy a decent handycam to bring with me on the travels. Would be cool to document it all with something else than a digital cam that is still pretty ok to make movies but as i am into movies i like to have something that gives me the ability to work with, at least amaturish =) So if you have some suggestions halo at me with something. Sony handycam is on the lookout for 400 euro, a bit to much for me to be honest so if something decent comes around 250-300 euro that would be much better. Rather put the extra money on something fun to do insted. And buying a cheap camera in dos Indias i rather not.

Got a 1,5TB harddrive to fill with VJ material, its running so hard everyday that the laptop almost crashes everyday as well. Getting a bit worried that it wont be stable that much. But i think this week im plugging in a newer version of Win7 to see how that works out. Cant really recomend Win7(N) anymore, the lite verision without explorer and WMP, but they are needed so im not sure why they made that version. And as always tons of computers to be fixed back here, but with all "real" work not much time for that either.

Followed the debate on the new tourist visa rules of india, and they are apparently going to make a few adjustments and im glad even though they still will have the 2 months period of staying out of india they are making multiple entry better. But like always when it comes down to diplomacy i tend to burst out in fire.

Oh well work ends in 30 minutes, went on fast today, not bad at all but less hours, not even 6h for today. Normaly it should be 12 =) Im a hard worker when i a objective. Anyways until later!

Changes are guuud

Alright! Time to make some changes in here! Finaly got the Joomla version up with some new stuff. For the moment there is some info just copied from Wikipedia (Haryana & Delhi) but as times goes on it will be my own material in there with a few pictures. Finaly found a good way to display them without having to throw in to much effort. Its the flash viewer you can see in the Himachal Pradesh tab under india. Much easier for you to see all pictures at once as well with a nice navigation. Also having joomla makes it so much easier for me to add more stuff in different ways.

So to the status! Im still in Sweden waiting for my time to expire on 1 of April so i can apply for a new one. During this time im back to the old work doing what i used to do ;) Cut the dreads for those that still doesnt know this and i'll post a few pics of the "new" Martin ;) I figgured it would give me some nice advantages and it did, got my job back and hopefully i'll be able to score a nice job back home in India. So for the moment im "sitting" out the time here in the cold and snowy sweden, but i will be back soon.

Whats up?

Well decided to let you in on what im doing at the moment and why everything is taking such time =) We have and event coming up on the 4th of December in “our” club called ManrĂ©. Its called Super Species and its the whole house gang thats going to preform. Nick and Ankit are doing the music, some dj and some live and i will be responsible for the visuals.

So a lot of time is put into ripping hindi movies since we want to connect the music with the ethnic culture and that its not to easy. Taken almost a whole day now to find the right software and setup to do this as fast and comfortable as possible. Since after all is set we can almost do everything automatically.

I’m still experimenting with HDR photos and my panoramas but im not quite getting the results i want to have so again…more time =) Anyway xmas going on soon, new month and a new year…something exciting to look forward to ;)

Have a blast!
